Penalty miss Man Utd teen race hate hell
MANCHESTER United teen Anthony Elanga was hit with vile racist abuse after his penalty miss against Middlesbrough.
The winger, 19, missed the decisive penalty in a 7-8 shootout defeat as United crashed out of the FA Cup on Friday night.
Trolls then posted sickening abuse on Instagram, which the company said it was investigating
Troy Townsend, from equality organisation Kick It Out, blasted: “A spokesperson for Instagram said, it has already removed a number of comments and its investigation is ongoing. Blah, blah, blah.”
The Government this week announced an online safety bill which would make sending “genuinely threatening messages” a criminal offence.
