Spice Girls star and fashion designer Victoria Beckham is flogging a range of lovethemed jewellery at budget prices.
A pearl and bell charm is £20, a gold-plated trinket saying “I love you” comes in at £45 and a gold chain to hang it on is £75.
The prices are a far cry from the £500 jeans and £1,200 dresses which have featured in Victoria’s fashion range. A source said: “Victoria has been synonymous with high fashion but these prices are more Elizabeth Duke than Elizabeth Taylor.
“It could be a shrewd move though – she’s still got a massive fan base among folk who like a bit of bargain bling with a fancy name attached.”
Buyers are told on Posh’s website: “Designed exclusively for Valentine’s Day, the ‘I love you’ charm is perfect for gifting... designed with a playful spinning mechanism.”
Valentine’s Day could be a timely boost for the 47-yearold singer, after Victoria Beckham Holdings filed pre-tax losses of £6.8million.
Posh has been aided by millions of pounds invested by her “Goldenballs” former football star husband David, 46, and other shareholders.
