Misery is the metal band’s normal calling card but Jonathan Davis sounds borderline chirpy this time. The riffs are perhaps Korn at their most accessible – heavy yet melodic, particularly when the euphoric Let The Dark Do The Rest soars. And at just nine tracks long, there’s little or no filler.
