IAN EVATT was left raging after racist abuse was allegedly directed at his players by Morecambe fans.

Bolton lost Ricardo Santos to a red card and Cole Stockton, who missed the resulting penalty, soon scored before substitute Amadou Bakayoko forced the draw.

Wanderers boss Evatt said: “It’s disgusting and there is no place for it in football or life in general.

“We have to do the utmost to stamp it out.”

Morecambe manager Stephen Robinson said: “We got punished for bad calls.”
