Crawley 2 Stevenage 2

-

JOHN YEMS criticised his Crawley side for “kamikaze football” after throwing away a two-goal lead.

Tom Nichols scored twice to open up a 2-0 half-time advantage, but Arthur Read and Scott Cuthbert replied in the last 10 minutes to earn the visitors a point.

“In the last 10 minutes we defended like schoolboys,” said manager Yems. “It feels like we’ve been mugged. We threw the game away. It is kamikaze football.”

Stevenage boss Paul Tisdale beamed: “I am very proud of the boys for the last 15 minutes.”
