‘My Glazer guided joy’

DESPITE winning six Super Bowls with them and having two decades with the franchise, retiring quarterback Tom Brady did not have much to say about the New England Patriots and owners, the Kraft family.

He was, however, far more forthcoming about the owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team with which he won one Super Bowl and saw out the final two years of his career.

Brady (above) said this: “To the Glazer family, thank you for taking a chance on me and supporting me. I know I was demanding at times, but you provided everything we needed to win and your ownership was everything a player could ask for.”

And that might be the case if you are a Manchester United player.

But we can safely say it is not everything a fan could ask for.
