DUP dismay for Protocol

-

THE DUP yesterday said hopes of the Northern Ireland Protocol row being solved before the Stormont polls in May were “small”.

Party leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson said “little progress” had been made by Foreign Secretary Liz Truss and the EU despite talks in London on Friday.

Stormont Assembly elections are due on May 5.

Until then the devolved government has no executive, after the DUP’s Paul Givan quit as first minister.
