Washing ban for neighbour in abuse row
A WOMAN has been banned from putting her washing machine on at night after driving her next-door neighbour crazy.
Iqra Malik, 44, also plagued Anne-Marie Cole with tirades of abuse, “malicious” letters and made “unsubstantiated allegations” about her, a court heard.
The victim was forced to seek temporary accommodation away from her home in Islington, North London, and lost her job and relationships due to the harassment.
Malik was handed a suspended 12-week sentence at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court this week – at the 19th hearing in the case. Judge Alison Rose said: “Your behaviour was malicious.”
