Wills and Harry’s business links are ‘set to end’ as their charity firm dips

EXCLUSIVE

BY PATRICK HILL & ANDY BUCKWELL THE last known business ties between warring princes William and Harry are on the brink of being cut.

Tyrolese (743) Limited was set up by the pair in 2012 and is understood to have been used to donate profits from royalties to charity.

But accounts show assets are £4,469, compared with £410,000 four years ago.

And a statement in latest published accounts said: “The directors anticipate activities of the entity will reduce in the next 12 months to the point where the entity is essentially dormant.

“For as long as the company continues to derive income, the directors will donate available profits to relevant charities. When the income ceases, the directors will consider making the company dormant.”

The firm was set up on October 25, 2012, with two directors – Miguel Head and Anthony Lowther Pinkerton, who were royal aides at the time. Current direc- tors are Guy

Monson, who was a member of the Diana statue committee, and Leslie Ferrar, an ex-treasurer to Prince Charles.

But it is understood the princes manage Tyrolese through their private companies – William’s APL Anglesey Ltd and Harry’s London-based Tsessebe Ltd, which each own 50%. Harry and wife Meghan also have a network of 11 companies in the tax haven US state of Delaware, in order to channel income from their various US-based projects.

Accounts for Tyrolese said directors do not plan to liquidate the firm due to its “strategic role” for shareholders – maintaining a glimmer of hope William and Harry could work together again.

That would mean resolving issues which have driven a wedge between them. There were strains in 2016 when William, 39, was reported to have cautioned Harry about the pace of his romance with Meghan, 40.

In 2019, the brothers, who had lived in separate cottages at Kensington Palace, split their households – Harry’s office going to Buckingham Palace, William and wife Kate’s staying at Kensington.

Then Harry and Meghan stood down from royal duties and moved to Canada and then California, where they live with children Archie, three, and baby Lilibet.

And things hit rock bottom after Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey in which they accused the royals of racism.

It is believed William and Harry, 37, have not met since the unveiling in London last July of a statue of their late mother Diana. Kensington Palace declined to comment.
