Yves man for Toon

NEWCASTLE have set their sights on Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.

And if Dan Ashworth is appointed as the Toon’s new director of football, that could help their cause.

Ashworth was Brighton’s technical director but is on gardening leave.

Mali star Bissouma, 25, was on Newcastle’s radar in January, but with the threat of relegation high only Aston Villa put in a bid, which was rejected.

Liverpool and Spurs are also monitoring the situation.
