STEVE BRUCE says he wants to turn Grady Diangana back into the Championship’s best player.

West Brom’s new manager belives the 23-year-old is key to unlocking the Baggies’ goalscoring potential.

Former England Under-21 international Diangana (below) was the subject of a £20million switch from West Ham after a successful loan period that saw the Baggies promoted under Slaven Bilic.

But he has gradually disappeared from the picture – and now Bruce is keen to put him back in it.

Bruce said: “Under Slaven a couple of years ago, he was by far and

away the best player in this league. We have to get him firing.

He’s a talent.”
