BURTON boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink bemoaned an “opportunity missed” after they twice surrendered the lead. Gassan Ahadme’s penalty gave Albion an ideal start and William Kokolo restored their advantage after Harvey Knibbs’ equaliser, but Sam Smith earned Cambridge a point.

Hasselbaink said: “You have a brilliant start, then you want to kick on and we didn’t do that.”

Cambridge boss Mark Bonner said: “To make sure we took something from the game was important.”
