Doc Martin’s last case is Xmas special
TELEVISION’S Doc Martin will bow out with a Christmas special at the end of the year.
Filming of the last series starring Martin Clunes began in Port Isaac, Cornwall, this week.
Buffalo Pictures is also making a documentary for ITV, provisionally called Doc Martin – A Celebration, to m ark 18 years of the comedy-drama.
Clunes, 60, said: “I have looked forward to returning to this beautiful county this year for the tenth and final series.
“We have some great storylines for the new series.”
ITV’s head of drama Polly Hill added: “‘If this really has to be the final series of Doc Martin, we thought we’d also commission a Christmas special.”
