Teen in court for farm fires
A TEENAGER who begged for donations to help her family recover from devastaing bushfires will appear in court later this week charged with arson.
Police allege Shahana Shadbolt, 18, lit the nine scrub fires herself at the family property near Perth, Western Australia.
Shadbolt pleaded through media outlets for donations to help replace £2,600 worth of farming equipment, medication and lost stock feed.
Her mum complained that police had failed to find the arsonist.
