Magma Resort Santorini, the newest addition to The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, and the

Greek Islands’ first Hyatt branded resort, will be welcoming guests from June 1.

Set among terraced vineyards in the quiet north-east of the island on the volcanic slopes of Vourvoulos, all 59 rooms and suites offer breathtaki­ng views of the Aegean sea and tiny Anafi island.

Many also feature private pools and hot tubs.

Expect uber-cool treatments in the resort’s subterrane­an Lava Spa, and with a two-starred Michelin chef in charge at the restaurant, Magma By Spondi is touted to be the hottest culinary destinatio­n on the island.

Five-star hotel The Headland in Newquay has teamed up with the Lost Gardens of Heligan near St Austell to offer a special March break celebratin­g the arrival of spring in Cornwall, ahead of the rest of the country.
