BLACKBURN ROVERS CEO Steve Waggott slammed the late decision to call off their game against Millwall.

The referee postponed the match after his second pitch inspection just 45 minutes before kick-off due to heavy snowfall at Ewood Park, despite conditions improving.

Waggott said: “It’s so disappointing. I thought we could have started the game and see how the pitch fared. I really feel sorry for the Millwall supporters.”
