DEFENDER Dom Hyam is turning into Coventry’s secret weapon.

Just as it looked like this match was heading for a blank draw, Hyam popped up to take advantage of Jasper Moon’s mistake with his second n three games.

Coventry boss Mark Robins admitted: “It was a really good finish and you could see the relief. It was an outpouring of relief that we had broken the deadlock.

“You put three points in your pocket and move on.”

Hyam struck during the nine minutes of added time which is just what you need when you are propping up the table.

Sub Moon miskicked a clearance after the ball had been sent into the area by Ben Sheaf and Hyam reacted quickly.

Barnsley boss Poya Asbaghi admitted: “It’s the worst feeling in the world to lose a game that way.

“Of course Jasper knows he has made a mistake and he did not do it on purpose. The team will support him so that in the same situation he can do it better.

“Getting a point from here with a good defensive performance, I would take it any day of the week.

“Unfortunately we could not keep them out.”
