Doncaster 1 Sheff Wed 3

-

DARREN MOORE hailed Sheffield Wednesday’s growing strength.

Callum Paterson, Saido Berahino and Barry Bannan, who missed a penalty, replied for the visitors after Dan Gardner’s first-half spot-kick.

“For them to come back and win the game in the manner they did was very pleasing,” Moore (right) said. “When we went in at

half-time behind, there was no panic.

“We’ll keep building the strong mentality that we have at the club. We have said all along that we need to show solidity and consistency.”

Doncaster boss Gary McSheffrey bemoaned errors which led to the three goals conceded. He said: “The goals were all avoidable, which was disappointing again.

“It was a few silly mistakes.”
