Stevenage 0 Bristol Rovers 4

JOEY BARTON hailed Bristol Rovers’ performance – but wants them to be more clinical in front of goal.

Sam Finley, Elliot Anderson, Harry Anderson and Aaron Collins scored but boss Barton felt Rovers should have had more after having 24 shots.

“We could have got five, six, seven or eight because we were that good,” said Barton (right).

“If I’ve got a criticism it’s that we weren’t a little bit more ruthless and furthered the goal difference because it was men against boys.”

Stevenage manager Paul Tisdale said: “This is our first real test. It’s about how we react.”
