Northampton 3 Colchester 0
WAYNE BROWN said he could not justify some of his Colchester side’s “criminal” defending.
Interim boss Brown was particularly angry with the defending for Fraser Horsfall’s headed opener.
Sam Hoskins and Benny Ashley-Seal scored after the break, and Brown said: “There were two free headers for them from set-pieces in the first half – and that’s criminal. You cannot justify that.”
Northampton boss Jon Brady (left) said: “We managed to find a way to score a couple of goals from open play and hopefully that can now continue.”
