Taylor scored to overhaul Manny Onariase’s first-half opener. And Stockdale said: “When you go behind, it’s almost like the shackles come off and there really is nothing to lose – but we’ve got to start games like that.
“Look at us in the second half – some of our football was really, really good.
“But we get it that we need to win games.
“Let’s hope this is the start of a nice little run.”
Scunthorpe boss Keith Hill saw his side slip further adrift at the foot of League Two. “The second half performance really hurt,” he said. “The first half was good as I’ve seen from us in terms of control.”
