“Plan your exercise and write down how many repetitions and sets you’re able to complete with each workout. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you improve,” says exercise instructor Julie Robinson (moveitorloseit.co.uk).
“Set a timer to remind yourself to get up and move during the day. It’s important to break up the day with exercise little and often.”
Aim for a mix of strength, stretching and balance exercises. “Adding music is a great way to boost energy levels and increase motivation, so why not try popping on your favourite tunes,” adds Julie.
