IPSWICH boss Kieran McKenna felt his side’s lack of a killer touch proved costly as they were held by Morecambe.

Town dominated the game but a goal from Aaron Wildig looked set to give Morecambe the three points until Wes Burns levelled three minutes from time. McKenna said: “We were excellent in our attacking play but didn’t make the most of the chances. It’s an area we need to improve on.”

Returning Morecambe boss Derek Adams, who replaced Stephen Robinson in midweek, said:

“We knew it was going to be a tough game, but we battled superbly.”
