Hi-tech cans for beer fans

BEER fans are toasting a new type of canned ales that are transforming the industry, an expert says.

Adrian Tierney-Jones reckons the flavours of brands such as Baby Faced Assassin have blown away old “dishwasher” tasting favourites, with sales rocketing in the past two years.

He said it was due to a hi-tech micro-thin, waterbased lining inside the tins.

“The dire canned beers of the past have been consigned to the recycling bin of history,” Adrian said.
