GROUNDED HATTERS KEN PLAY IN PREM
LUTON expect to be granted permission to play Premier League matches at Kenilworth Road next season, should they achieve a shock promotion.
There are question marks about whether the Hatters’ dilapidated old ground meets Premier League minimum criteria on a host of issues.
But Luton and manager Nathan Jones (above) are understood to be quietly confident that agreements can be reached with the league on the matter should promotion be achieved.
The club are expected to open a new stadium for the 2024-25 season.
