STEVE COOPER is backing Brennan Johnson to bounce back from his penalty woe – starting against Huddersfie­ld in the FA Cup tomorrow night.

The in-demand Forest winger (below) fluffed his lines from the spot in Friday night’s 1-1 draw with Sheffield United.

It was a rare blot in an impressive breakthrou­gh season for the Wales internatio­nal, who continues to attract a host of Premier League admirers.

And Johnson, 20, will have the chance to further showcase his talents if the Reds beat fellow Championsh­ip promotionc­hasers Huddersfie­ld with Liverpool awaiting in the quarter-finals.

Forest boss Cooper said: “Brennan will be disappoint­ed with the penalty but he needs these moments to become the player that he is going to become.”
