STEVE COOPER is backing Brennan Johnson to bounce back from his penalty woe – starting against Huddersfield in the FA Cup tomorrow night.
The in-demand Forest winger (below) fluffed his lines from the spot in Friday night’s 1-1 draw with Sheffield United.
It was a rare blot in an impressive breakthrough season for the Wales international, who continues to attract a host of Premier League admirers.
And Johnson, 20, will have the chance to further showcase his talents if the Reds beat fellow Championship promotionchasers Huddersfield with Liverpool awaiting in the quarter-finals.
Forest boss Cooper said: “Brennan will be disappointed with the penalty but he needs these moments to become the player that he is going to become.”
