KIERAN McKENNA was pleased to see his Ipswich side rise to the challenge as they won at Fleetwood.
The visitors stretched their unbeaten run to seven thanks to Samy Morsy’s opener and a Kayden Jackson effort 10 minutes from time. “It was a good win because it was a difficult game on a very difficult pitch,” said Town boss McKenna. “We put on a good performance and got our reward.”
Fleetwood, however, are hovering above the relegation zone and manager Stephen Crainey said: “I’m disappointed to lose that game.”
