HAVING given Everton a ping for raising their season-ticket prices after a seven-year freeze, it is only fair to do the same to Arsenal after they also announced a price hike.

No matter how small the rise, it is just not a good look in these difficult times.

But there is one difference between Everton and Arsenal that should be highlighted.

The average price of a season ticket at Goodison Park is just under £500. The average price of a season ticket at the Emirates is just over a grand.

Everton have not been great… but they haven’t been twice as poor as Arsenal.
