KEIR Starmer is backing our campaign to save the Lost Children of Ukraine.

The Labour leader said: “The scenes in Ukraine are appalling, with young children getting caught up in the violence and some left without support. Children in orphanages are among the most vulnerable, and we cannot allow them to be abandoned among the chaos. So I welcome this initiative from the Sunday Mirror.

“And credit to the Hope and Homes for Children teams for the children and families they have helped so far. People have been incredibly generous.

“Faced with Putin’s cruelty, vulnerable Ukrainians can know that the British people are on their side.”
