He’s filling in potholes near his house because he can’t drive his Ferrari over them.
The Sailing singer, 77, took to Instagram to show off his hard graft in Harlow, Essex.
Surrounded by puddlefilled potholes, Sir Rod told his 1.1 million followers: “I’m repairing the streets where I live because no one can be bothered to do it.
“This is the state of the roads near where I live.
“It’s been like this for ages. The other day there was an ambulance with a burst tyre.
“My Ferrari can’t go through here at all. So me and the boys thought we’d come and do it ourselves.”
