Adele: Big boys do cry

But the 33-year-old superstar admits she’s usually the one dealing with friends crying in front of her – and, surprisingly, it’s men more than women in need of the tissues.
Discussing pals who get emotional over her No 1 hit Easy On Me, which is about her son, she says: “I found so far that song affects men more. It is my male friends that have really, really cried and said to me, ‘I never thought of who my mum is outside of being my mum’. Most men and their mums are very close – even if they are not close, there is a bond there.”
Is she talking about her bestie Alan Carr? Not disclosing identities, Adele just says: “It has been really moving.
“And I am trying to sort of comfort them!”
