SUNNY EDWARDS isn’t worried about any scorecard issues after the Josh Taylor-Jack Catterall blow-up when he faces Muhammad Waseem in Dubai on Saturday.

That’s because the 26-year-old Englishman (above) is not expecting the Pakistani fighter to be anywhere near him in the judges’ eyes if he even lasts the distance.

IBF featherweight champion Edwards, who is making a second defence of his crown, said: “My fights aren’t close enough for that to be a problem.

“Yes, he has two arms, two legs and, like anyone else, ambition and desire.

“But the level I’m reaching, showing and proving, I don’t think he has ever shown, and I will only get better.

“I’m levels above him and a lot of these fighters. But you can’t walk in the ring just thinking that, you have to walk in the ring and show it.

“That being said, I’ll prepare for anything.

“It will be a very special fighter that beats me. When he appears, I will shake his hand.”
