RALPH HASENHUTTL believes Kyle Walker-Peters deserves all the plaudits he has been earning at Southampton this season.

Full-back Walker-Peters has been tipped for a potential England call-up later this month.

The ex-Spurs man, 24, has plenty of competition for that role but Saints boss Hasenhuttl said: “We know he is definitely a player who gives you some exceptional moves and creates chances.

“There is no reason why he cannot take that form on for the rest of the season.”

Saints lost to Newcastle last time out and now must break down struggling Watford.

Hasenhuttl added: “We have found solutions in the past against these teams. We tried against Newcastle but the shots didn’t go in.”
