WATFORD defender Samir has warned his teammates... improve or we’re going down.
The Hornets’ centre-half issued an emphatic message after Roy Hodgson’s side slumped to a 4-0 defeat at Molineux on Thursday.
He said: “Performances like the one at Wolves aren’t good enough – so I want to apologise to the fans.
“It was a horrible day. A horrible performance from everyone. We have to play as a team. That didn’t happen at Wolves.
“We need to work together – and change – and find our enthusiasm when we get out onto that pitch because if that doesn’t change, we’re going down.”
Hodgson admits time is running out for his side.
He said: “It was difficult when I took it on six weeks ago and it hasn’t got any easier. I knew it was going to be a challenge.”
