THAT’LL DO RON, RON, RON
CRISTIANO RONALDO fired a sensational hat-trick to become football’s greatest-ever goalscorer – and keep alive Manchester United’s hopes of a top-four finish.
The Portuguese striker took his tally in competitive games to 807 goals – eclipsing the number scored by Austrian forward Josef Bican either side of the Second World War.
United boss Ralf Rangnick said: “It was a top performance by him – but also by the rest of the team.
“I didn’t expect him to score three, but I expected him to score.”
