But I can barely begin to imagine how tough it must have been when, as a teenager, Daisy Lowe learnt her godfather Gavin Rossdale was actually her biological dad.
In recent years it’s been heartwarming to see Daisy – whose mother is Pearl Lowe form such a tight bond. Speaking as a guest on That Gaby Roslin podcast, the model admits: “We think in the same
way and we have so many frightening similarities.
“Now when we spend time together, we have the same mannerisms, which is so strange because it wasn’t like he brought me up as his kid, it’s just so in his very strong DNA and he’s a really good person to turn to when I need him.”
She’s also been bonding with her half-sister, above, adding: “It’s been crazy this year spending so much time with Betty, realising I was her age, when all of it came out.”
