Dani dreams of life on the Street... or in soap’s Dales
EX-EASTENDERS star Daniella Westbrook said she would love to make a soap comeback – on rival shows Coronation Street or Emmerdale.
The actress said she accepts she cannot return to Albert Square but is looking to the future.
Daniella, 48, who has battled drug addiction, said she now takes her recovery day by day.
She told GB News: “I’m HOPEFUL looking to the future. EastEnders was great, I grew up in front of the nation. But it’s in the past.
“I am so, ‘RIP Sam Mitchell’. I would love to do Emmerdale or Corrie.” Daniella also revealed she dreams of acting on stage, and would love to play prison top dog Matron Mama Morton in Chicago.
She added: “I had 14 years of being clean then relapsed so I will always say, every day, that I am in recovery.”
