Scots plea by Jurgen
JURGEN KLOPP is hoping Scotland boss Steve Clarke makes only light use of Liverpool defender Andy Robertson during the international break.
The Scots’ World Cup qualifying play-off against Ukraine on Thursday was postponed after Russia’s invasion – and replaced by a friendly against Poland, who were scheduled to face the Russians in the play-offs.
The friendly at Hampden Park will raise funds for UNICEF’s humanitarian response in Ukraine.
Speaking on Friday, Reds boss Klopp confirmed that he has yet to speak to Clarke directly about it – but he expressed the hope that Robertson might now avoid a 90-minute outing.
