Karim is KO blow for Carlo

REAL MADRID striker Karim Benzema will miss tonight’s El Clasico against Barcelona after suffering a calf injury.

It is a major blow for Real. Manager Carlo Ancelotti admitted: “Benzema is still hurting and can’t play. He won’t travel with France next week and will stay in Madrid to recover.”

Real have a La Liga-European Cup double in their sights.

But Ancelotti added: “Barcelona have improved a lot – they are in a good dynamic.”
