A binge bonanza

-

PUT that trip to the garden centre or municipal tip on hold (no, I don’t get out that much) – and plonk yourself on the sofa or head to a multi-TV pub!

Because this is the last lengthy chance you’ll have for several days to see some highly watchable, top-notch football.

So it’s Binge-watch Day! On the menu: three FA Cup quarter-finals AND a London derby Prem battle for a place in the Champions League places.

Yes, some of them might overlap, but that’s one hell of a footballing mixtape.

For the Prem battle, we can only hope that the Moyesiah has pumped his victorious charges so full of restorative Irn-Bru that

they are ready to take on the resurgent Spurs in north London.

The emotions from Thursday night will still be coursing through the ardent Irons fans – so let’s hope Thursday-night extratime legginess is not too much of a factor in what is usually a wonderfully acrimonious dust-up.

And you sense that such is the feeling against putrid Putin that even the Spurs fans wouldn’t object if Yarmy were to score again.

Meanwhile, in the Cup games, you do get a sense that one of Everton, Citeh or Liverpool could come a cropper, which makes for compulsive viewing.

And if you’re a total addict and have Premier Sports 1, you could even round off your evening with El Clasico (8pm).

Yes, the international break is looming – so do make the most of today’s exciting offerings.
