GIORGOS GIAKOUMAKIS scored another hat-trick as Celtic thumped Ross
County 4-0 to move six points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
With Rangers playing Dundee today, Celtic took full advantage and had the Greek striker to thank after his second treble in five games.
Giakoumakis (above) scored an early double then set up a Daizen Maeda tap-in to secure the three points within the opening 26 minutes.
County defender Kayne Ramsay was sent off moments later, and Giakoumakis added a penalty after a handball.
Celtic are unbeaten in 31 domestic games but boss Ange Postecoglou says the latest win doesn’t pile the pressure on Rangers.
He said: “We just concentrate on what we need to do.
“We had a couple of really tough away games where we’ve done really well, but the playing surfaces haven’t allowed us to play our football.
“It allowed us to be really good and bright and we were well in control.”
The only blot was seeing midfielder Tom Rogic forced off with an ankle knock as Ramsay saw red for a strong first-half challenge.
