BENNY HOWELL will make history if he makes his Indian Premier League debut this week – for all kinds of reasons.

The Gloucester­shire all-rounder was one of the last players to be snapped up in the auction.

Now the first French-born cricketer to sign for an IPL franchise is hoping to lord it for the Punjab Kings and rub shoulders with some of the sport’s biggest earners after landing a £30,000 payday of his own.

He will also take one more step to proving that ADHD is no barrier to sporting success.
