Bald and chain
PRISONER Lee Stoba reckons jail time has made him go BALD.
The 48-year-old has been locked up for almost a decade and claims the stress has cost him his thatch.
The drugs offender made the claim in a letter from his cell at HMP Dovegate, Staffs. Writing to prison mag Inside Time, he said: “Dirty protests, selfharming, the despair on prisoner’s faces… some days can be very stressful. It is no wonder I am losing my hair.”
Stoba has a wisp of hair in his pre-jail mugshot but he says it is in danger of disappearing.
Serco, which runs the prison, did not comment.
