22 NORTHAMPTON continued their rise as they moved up to fifth with a bonus-point win over Bristol.

A frantic first half saw Tom Collins, Rory Hutchinson and Lewis Ludlam cross for Saints.

Semi Radradra, Callum Sheedy and Yann Thomas kept the visitors in it at the break – only for the hosts to run away with it in the second half.

Tommy Freeman and Collins sealed the win before Alapati Leiua’s consolation for the Bears.

Saints boss Chris Boyd said: “We said at half-time that if we stuck to it we’d get the result – and we did.”

Bristol chief Pat Lam said: “It was frustrating.”
