Warriors are embarrassed

STEVE DIAMOND branded his Worcester side “pathetic and embarrassing” after they were taught a severe rugby lesson by rampant Newcastle.
The Warriors boss (below) tore into his team after one of their worst defeats of the season with Falcons earning their first Premiership win since November.
Diamond fumed: “It was a wholly pathetic performance.
“Newcastle, who are a hard-working, good side came and put us to bed – embarrassing!” Falcons’ George McGuigan charged over for his 13th try of the campaign, while fly-half Brett Connon amassed 20 points, including a try.
Falcons boss Dean Richards said: “So many players were outstanding.
“George McGuigan is on the top of his game.”
