TRIP TO THE COAST IS UP TO GUEHI

MARC GUEHI will not be forced into making a decision over his international future by club boss Patrick Vieira.
Centre-half Guehi, born in the Ivory Coast capital, Abidjan still has the option to switch allegiances despite making his England debut in a non-competitive friendly against Switzerland last weekend.
He has made a big impression at Selhurst Park this season, following a summer switch from Chelsea, and manager Vieira felt he was justly rewarded for his fine form with his first England call-up.
The 21-year-old put in another solid display against the Swiss, but did not feature

Vieira said he will listen to Guehi and discuss his options, but insisted a final decision must lie with the defender and his family.
“Only Marc and his family can make that decision,” Vieira explained.
“If he came to me I would talk to him about him.
“But I would not give him the answer, the answer has to come from him. It’s about making the right decision and I think that can be a family decision as well.
“If he came to me, we would talk about it but he will make the right decision for himself and for his family.
“I don’t have any doubts about that.”
Guehi has been one of the standout players in Palace’s Premier League rise this season and played the full 90 minutes in England’s
2-1 victory at Wembley eight days ago.
