Leno KO’s Tyne call
ARSENAL goalkeeper Bernd Leno is ready to snub Newcastle and return to Germany this summer.
The 30-year-old joined the Gunners in 2018 and was first-choice keeper up until September last year.
But the Gunners are now ready to let Leno – who is contracted until 2023 – leave at the end of the season, and it is understood offers between £5-10million will be considered.
Leno is one of several experienced goalkeepers Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is looking at, including Chelsea flop Kepa Arrizabalaga.
However, German international Leno could return to his former club Bayer Leverkusen.
