Priest tells of rape & genocide

A SAVIOUR priest evacuating women and children from besieged Mariupol has described the “full-blown genocide” of thousands of people.

Pastor Gennadiy Mokhnenko lost his adopted daughter Viktoria, 27, when a Russian tank fired into her apartment. Her son, three, is missing.

Gennadiy, 54, pictured, was running rescue missions in the city until last week and described the horror of streets littered with bodies, burnt-out cars with skeletons inside and bombed-out buildings with corpses buried beneath.

He said: “Russians no longer let anyone into the city at all – no one knows how many women and children have been murdered there.

“They are putting ovens into cars and burning bodies.” He also claimed women have been raped, as in Bucha, where 280 bodies were found in mass graves.
