PM TAKES THE PUBLIC FOR FOOLS

-

We know the Tory Government broke the law by having parties over lockdown and that Boris Johnson has tried to evade the truth at every turn.

First, he said there were no parties at all. When it was proven there were, he said it was outrageous that there were parties.

Then, once he’d been found out and we knew he was actually at the parties, he claimed he didn’t know they were parties.

Boris Johnson is taking the British people for fools. He’s trying to push this issue along and say it is not the right time – but actually he’s wasting police time. He knows very well what he’s done and that he shouldn’t be Prime Minister.

It’s not just a question of him partying when people were not able to see their dying families, it’s about the fundamental integrity of the man.

It is very dangerous to have a man who thinks rules don’t apply to him running the country.

He went to NATO the other week and looked like a child who has lost all his friends in the playground. He has lost his credibility across the world, which has huge implications for the UK’s standing.

It is one thing to party with your friends at other people’s expense, but Boris Johnson also dismissed national security advice to give his friend a peerage.

We cannot have a Prime Minister at times like this who lies to the public, disregards national security and does not have the command or

respect of world leaders.
