Macron plea to halt Le Pen
EMMANUEL Macron has made a last-ditch appeal to young voters to keep the far right out of power as France goes to the polls.
The French president was just two points head of Marine Le pen on the last day of campaigning before today’s first round votes.
Around a third of voters are said to be undecided.
But if the polls prove right, the pair will go headto-head in the second round run-off on April 24.
Urging young voters to turn out in force, Mr Macron said the far right “play with the fear”.
